About Amy Bartley

Hello Artists & Parents!

My name is Amy Bartley, and I’m an enthusiastic art educator with over 25 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Art Education. Alongside my teaching, I am also a practicing artist, exploring various mediums such as watercolors, acrylics, gouache, mixed media, and photography. I live in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

At Creative Cat Art Studio, creativity is celebrated, and I embrace Maya Angelou’s quote: "You can't use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have."

See you in class!

About Ella Bartley

Hi there!

I’m Ella Bartley, and I’m excited to be part of Creative Cat Art Studio! I earned my bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on art, psychology, and education from Coastal Carolina University. I currently teach part-time in our local school district and have been teaching with Creative Cat Art Studio for over a year, working on both live and self-paced lessons.

I love helping young artists build confidence, explore their creativity, and enjoy the art-making process. In my free time, I enjoy reading, mixed media projects, and spending time with my cat, Jake.

Can’t wait to create with you!

About Biscuit

Hi, I’m Biscuit! My job at Creative Cat is to rearrange Ms. Amy's art supplies on a regular basis. Sometimes I knock over the paint water just for fun. I enjoy long, uninterrupted walks across freshly painted canvases and staring at the world through the studio window.

About Jake

Hey, I’m Jake! I’m an expert at getting into everything—paint, brushes, your lunch... you name it! My favorite pastimes include watching birds, climbing into things I’m not supposed to, and giving my humans the “I didn’t do it” face. Who says creativity can’t be a little chaotic?
